Pole Mounting Methods Type L 18 inch stake for small markers. Type M Type O Type P Type P requires a cast appendage below the plaque into which the pole is inserted. This appendage adds an additional six inches of height to the plaque and must be included when calculating the size of the plaque for pricing.
